Casey Cox

Coordinator, Business Network

Casey moved to Santa Fe in 1998 from a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. She spent her undergraduate years at both Syracuse University and College of Santa Fe, majoring in Film Production. Although Santa Fe was supposed to be a stop along way to fame and fortune in New York City, she fell in love with the stunning New Mexico sunsets and vast, polka-dotted landscape. Casey previously worked on various films in Santa Fe and surrounding areas until she stumbled upon the Santa Fe Institute and began wrangling scientists instead of actors – and finding it more of a challenge! When she’s not at SFI, Casey can be found playing with her arroyo pup, reading a great book, going on epic drives, and scouring various sources for new music.
