Students and their SFI mentors assess local well water quality

Three SFI researchers recently mentored four Santa Fe-area high-school students. The mentorship culminated in a community service project through which the students analyzed data on water quality from local wells, assessing the effect of water usage on levels of contamination in the well water.

SFI and the Groton School are offering a two-week summer residential program (July 9-21, in Groton, Massachusetts) for high school students who want to explore complexity science through hands-on ecological research. Application deadline is April 15.
